The Montgomery Street Band

The Montgomery Street Band is a string band from New Brunswick, Canada. Patrick Gushue (mandolin/fiddle), Liam Keith-Jacques (guitar/dobro), Jason Flores (upright bass) and Scott Michaud (Banjo) have dedicated themselves to carrying on the folk music traditions of the Maritimes. Along with masterful instrumentation, the band mates also take turns leading vocal harmonies. These avid street performers boast an extensive catalog of old time music while also incorporating the blazing tempos and dynamic energy of a full fledged jam band. In 2017 and 2018, the boys played in excess of 250 performances all over the maritimes. In spring of 2019, The Montgomery Street Band embarked on a month long, 25 show tour of Canada. In 2020-2021, The Montgomery Street Band recorded a new album, For The Time Being, produced by bluegrass veteran Alan Jeffries.
